Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P., committed to its users, and in order to provide clarity about the reasons for the increases perceived in the value of the gas service in the last period, hereby informs the following:

Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P. wishes to inform its users of the provisions related to the application of Decrees 517 of 2020 and CREG Resolution 059 of 2020, stipulated by the National Government, with the purpose of providing economic relief to users of the public natural gas service.

In this sense, we detail the application of these measures for our users: 

Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P. informs its users and the community in general that it will reconnect the natural gas service to those users who at the date of the entry into force of Resolution CREG 035/2020, do not have their certificate of conformity by Periodic Review.

In these moments of contingency, which have put the whole of humanity to the test, Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P. wishes to communicate to its users and the community in general, that its main purpose is to continue providing a safe and continuous service so that their homes can enjoy the benefits of natural gas. 

For this reason, we wish to communicate the relief measures that we have determined with the most vulnerable sectors of the population in mind.

At Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P. we are committed to providing an efficient and continuous service, and even more so during the health emergency that our region and the country are experiencing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

That is why our teams of collaborators will continue working with all the protection and self-care measures required to prevent contagion, in order to maintain a safe and stable operation.

We are committed to the health of our users, collaborators and community in general, therefore, due to the challenge we are facing as a society and aligned with the guidelines of the National Government, we have adopted the following prevention measures to reduce the possibility of contagion of COVID-19. In this regard, as of Wednesday, March 18, 2020, our customer service channels are modified, until further notice, as follows:

Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P. informs the community of the city of Yopal that on Friday, December 27 of this year from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the odorization activity will be carried out, that is, the application of the chemical component that provides the distinctive odor to natural gas.

This is a routine and completely safe activity for the community and allows the gas to be detected in case of leaks, since in its natural state it is odorless and colorless.

Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P. wishes to provide peace of mind to the community of Yopal, and especially to the residents of the residential complexes Torres del Sol, Comfacasanare, Llano Vargas, Villa Lucia, CDI Compartir, Los Laureles, Las Américas and the sector of the Civil Aeronautics, in relation to the gas odors perceived in the last hours.

Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P. informs the community of the city of Yopal that on Friday, November 15 of this year from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the odorization activity will be carried out, that is, the application of the chemical component that provides the distinctive odor to natural gas.

This is a routine and completely safe activity for the community and allows the gas to be detected in case of leaks, since in its natural state it is odorless and colorless.

Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P. informs the community of the municipalities of Tauramena, Aguazul, Monterrey and Villanueva that on Thursday October 17 and Friday October 18, we will perform in these locations, the odorant transfer activity, which consists of the addition of the chemical element that is added to natural gas to easily detect leaks in the facilities.
